Install Kolab1 Server
 

Old instructions to install the original Kolab1 Server. For new installs consider the improved versions from the Kolab Project.

The following instructions are aimed at the technical advanced administrator.

Install current Kolab Server release

You'll find the current (>=1.0.8) Kolab Server source releases at: www.erfrakon.de/projects/kolab/download/ including a changelog .

Eventually we also publish binary packages there for your convenience.
Binary packages are experimental and not officially supported.

Follow the Quick Installation Manual (QIM) and READMEs.
Compare it to the lastest QIMs from KOLAB_1_0 CVS-branch.

Make sure to have a look at the "Technical Description" and "Architecture Paper" available from the documentation section for more detailed information about the setup and a general overview.

Feedback and development

Please report any issues to the to public users mailinglists of the Kolab Project. The further development is also coordinated by that project.
